Hearing you laugh,

It makes me realize,

That there was a time in my life when I must have cried "Yipee!"

And meant it.

Because you do,

And I was just like you.

Watching you smile,

It makes my happy eyes swell,

It makes me realize that there was a time when I smiled without any doubt.

And felt it.

Because you do,

And holding your hand,

It makes my heart quake,

Like swallowing the kindest words I have ever heard in my life.

But the best part of me,

Is that I get to spend my life with you.
