Liam Scott

Today we found out that Luke will be having a little brother to be named Liam Scott. Liam is a good Irish name that I love, and Scott is the name of one of Matt's uncles. We are trying to maintain a tradition of using family names as our children's middle names, and it was Matt's turn to use a family name. Lucas has my grandfather's middle name of Jay. We chose one of Matt's uncles because we did not want to use one of our father's names, and Matt has always felt very close to his Uncle Scott.

Liam looks great and is very healthy. He is the exact size expected for a baby of 18 weeks and 3 days gestation. However, he already has a bad habit that we got to see on the ultra sound. Let me put it this way; it is a habit that most boys don't develop until they are at least 13! It was cool to see him playing around in there none the less! I feel so relieved to know that he is okay. Some people say that they feel as though the safest place for their baby is in utero, but I prefer to be able to see my munchkins on the outside to determine if they are okay.
